Good morning and welcome to 60 Days. Today is Wednesday, March 8, 2023 — the 57th day of the West Virginia Legislature's regular session. As the session begins to wind down — and because this is the last post I will write entirely on my own this session — I’m in a bit of a reflective mood.
I would encourage y'all, upon your reunion, to think about how you can make this sustainable for you both, time-wise. I personally wouldn't feel let down if this were just a 60-day missive. It's helpful as a 3,000 feet overview as opposed to the issue-focused stories from the traditional news orgs. Linking to those stories has been great, though!
I'd encourage you to look into recruiting another hand for next year if you need it, as well. I'm sure there will be another ex-HD Media person by then 🙄
